Happy 1st Birthday Claire!

Yes, I know, a little late! But better late than never.....that must be my life motto!!! Ha!
Claire is officially a walker! If she falls she will get right back up and walk some more. She says dada, mama, this, and uh-oh! She also enjoys yelling for her brothers. It is amazing....it sounds just like she is yelling Samuel, Benjamin! She sleeps very well; plays on her own, loves to dance (bouncing mainly), loves music, plays piano with Samuel, loves the outdoors, and LOVES her daddy!!!! Enjoy the photos!

Spiders!!!!!!!!!!!

This was find by Lee right outside our french doors in the basement! Outside, not inside! Scary but soooo cool! I have never seen anything like this before! The kids were amazed and creeped out of course! Samuel would not go near it even to look, but of course Benjamin was all over it! If you can't see, it is a million baby spiders covering a large spider (we assume the mother). The spider was probably as big as a silver dollar! It was truly a site to see! ENJOY!

So, we have been just a tad busy lately! I knew this would happen when we started getting ready for a new year of studies! We have quite a strict schedule.....both Samuel and Benjamin are doing school work and Claire is walking and into everything! It is so much fun....but leaves me little time for anyone else! Sorry everyone for being so self-involved lately! I hope you enjoy the photos!

Piano and other goings on!

Piano lessons are going very well. I can't wait for everyone to hear him play! Next year he will be having recitals through our umbrella group. Yes, we are joining an umbrella group through our church which also has a co-op. So he will have classes once per week, 2 field trips per month, spelling bees, and piano recitals through the group! We also have parties and other special things to attend throughout the school year. While he is in classes on Monday's, Benjamin will go to his own class, and Claire will be taken care of in the nursery so that I can lend a hand in whatever group I am assigned to! We are so excited about this new homeschool adventure!

Living Life!

I will catch everyone up using photos! Here goes.....Benjamin doing his "schoolwork", Benjamin at safeway with a slurpie from 711 (they went on a bike ride), Samuel and Lee building a mandalorian helmet (star wars), and Ainsley came to visit and loved our kittens! I purchased a bike and tandem for Lee on Father's day. They have ridden bikes everyday! So fun! Claire is crawling and having a great time.....eating pet food! Love you all! Thanks for reading!

Snapping turtle!!!!!!!!!

So we were on a walk around a "pond/lake" in Germantown and we came across a baby turtle.....a snapping turtle. It was so little! Of all people, I, Sarah found it! I almost ran the poor thing over with the stroller! Don't worry, we returned him after a little jostling, poking, handling..........I am sure he loved the attention ( I hope you caught the sarcasm)! Anyway, ENJOY!

Confidence

Today Samuel had his first piano lesson! I expected that he would learn a few things about the piano, maybe a little knowledge about music in general........he played a song for me!!!!!! Yes, it was short and easy but he looked so at ease at the piano and he smiled!!!!! He said that he loved it. I know, slow down, it was one lesson......I honestly don't care if he continues in piano or any other instrument.....I am just happy to see his confidence soar! I should have taken a picture of him but alas did not. Next lesson!

Claire is so adorable with her four little teeth......until she bites me while nursing!!! She is sitting up on her own, and rolling all over the place! I don't really see her crawling for awhile. She is such a little darling!

Benjamin has matured so much lately! He is so much more enjoyable these days. He loves daddy time and loves WORMS! Yes worms. Everywhere we go that child has a handful of squirmy, slimy, worms! He brings them back to our house and puts them in our dirt. He says they are all family! I love it! He also will not leave the hoses alone! The neighbors are forever at our door saying "Benjamin sprayed me with the hose"! Hilarious!

Lee and I are keeping it simple. Just trying to enjoy them!
